A recent survey of over 500 landlords carried out by insurance provider Endsleigh has found that residential landlords are overwhelmingly satisfied with the service they receive from their letting agent and find them an invaluable resource.
The results show that nine out of ten (92%) landlords are happy with their letting agent service.
When describing their ideal letting agent, the vast majority (93%) of landlords say that one of their top priorities would be finding an agent who can provide good-quality tenants and the ability to fill properties quickly was also one of the top three priorities for landlords. College and County know from experience that the care and attention given to matching the tenant to the property at the front end of the let will pay dividends in providing a stress-free tenancy for both tenant and landlord.
Carlos Thompson, Endsleigh account manager, said: “At a time when tenancy demand is outstripping supply in the buy-to-let market, it is crucial for letting agents to understand how best to service landlords, giving added value to existing services and products.
“Our survey confirms the importance landlords place on agents going that extra mile to service clients by finding good-quality tenants and filling properties quickly, while providing a consummately professional and personal offering."
Mark Crampton Smith of College and County says "It is good to get some positive feedback from landlords on the part that the agency plays in the letting process. The feedback from our clients last year when we won the ESTAs best small letting agency was very important to us and we constantly strive to maintain that high quality of service."
