Our Property Management team are on hand 24 hours and 7 days a week, including the bank holidays. We supply an emergency contact number which is manned by a member of our property management team – not a centralised anonymous call centre – this way most calls can be dealt with quickly and efficiently as the staff know the properties that the tenants are calling from.
There is however a difference in what some tenants class as “emergencies”. Recently we have received “emergency” calls from a neighbour of a managed property who wanted permission to trim a tree that was overhanging his property and another call from a tenant who was upset that the tenants in the flat upstairs were using the garden.
A majority of calls are from tenants who have lost their keys and need to access the property or for assistance with blocked drain. In each case we can be on site quickly to provide keys for access for both tenants and contractors as our staff are Oxford based. Any emergency maintenance is however always carried out with the Landlord’s best interest in mind.
