Relaxing in Headington

Headington has its own mix of grocery stores and thrift shops for your everyday needs. It also has specialist stores if your culinary skills dabble in other world cuisines, all conveniently located at the main junction called Headington Shops. But if you want to enjoy a spot of sun head over to the Bury Knowle Park or down the hill to Headington Hill Park or South Park. The Headington Shops also have a good mix of independent small businesses, café’s, restaurant and pubs – such as Craft Burger or Il Botanica. Make sure you sample the hand tossed, stone baked pizza on Friday night by SoleLuna, the mobile pizza truck – goes deliciously well with a movie and beer!

Highlight of Headington

If you fancy a coffee with delightful patisserie head over to Café Noir just off the Headington main square. Kitted out in a quaint vintage chic style, its range of delectable pastries is staggering. It will be a surprise if you aren’t tempted to move into the café itself!

Local View

We are living in Headington for just under 3 years now. It offers such a good balance between family living with the hubbub of Oxford town centre being just a short distance away. The outdoor spaces of Shotover Park or Bury Knowle Park are perfect for long lazy walks.
