Offer

Once you’re ready to make your offer, we’ll ask for proof of address and identification, the details of your solicitor and mortgage — if you have them. We know every situation is unique, so we’ll work with you to get this offer heard.

Acceptance

If your offer is accepted, we’ll provide a Memorandum of Sale and confirm the price and specific requirements with both yourself and the seller. In addition, you’ll need to share the details of your solicitor and mortgage — we can recommend good local choices if you need them — as well as identification for anti-money-laundering (AML) regulations.

Conveyancing

Your solicitors will now question anything they see in the draft contract, begin local searches for your property in Buckingham, Oxford, or Thame, and confirm the date of exchange with you. We’ll be right there to help smooth the process.

Survey and Mortgage Offer

Your mortgage lender will organise a survey and share their valuation. After this, they’ll send a mortgage offer to you and your solicitor.

Exchange Contracts

Once you have agreed on the mortgage and contracts, you can exchange. A deposit will be sent to the seller’s solicitors, and you can agree on the completion date.

Completion

This is when the remaining amount of money is transferred from your solicitor to the seller’s solicitor. We’ll be there, in constant communication with you and your solicitor, ready to let you know when the property is yours.
